Indian kid recipe for Potato salad


Potato salad recipe ingredients:-
Potatoes - 1 lb
Onion (diced) - 1/2 cup
Garlic (minced) - 2
Cumin powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Yogurt (low fat) - 1 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Potato salad recipe preparation method:-
Beat the yogurt and keep aside. In a small saucepan cook potato, covered, in boiling water for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Drain well, cool slightly. Peel and cube potato. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onions and saute for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and saute for 2 more minutes. Add the cumin, turmeric and salt to taste and stir well. Add the cooked potatoes and cook for 2 minutes. Combine the potato mixture with the yogurt. Toss gently. Garnish potato salad with finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and chopped green chillies and serve chilled.
